Tussah Silk
Picked llama and natural (undyed) Tussah Silk on the carder's in-feed table
ready for carding. The silk came to us as top. We weigh-out enough
silk so that the finished roving will be 80% llama and 20% silk. The
silk top is then picked apart and "salad tossed" with the
llama on the in-feed table.
